OAKLAND COUNTY, MI – An alleged gunman is in custody in connection with the shooting death of 52-year-old Antonio Jason Craig, police said.

The suspect, a 26-year-old Pontiac man, is being held at the Oakland County Jail with charges potentially filed as early as Tuesday.

Oakland County sheriff’s deputies initially discovered a pickup truck equipped with a salt spreader stopped in the middle of Karen Court shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.

Craig, of Pontiac, was found unresponsive inside the truck with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures, Craig was pronounced dead.

Police tracked the suspect and performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in which he was a passenger.
