United Conservative Party board meetings just got more interesting, with separatist sentiment in the driver’s seat.
While 4,500 members milled through a sort of cattle chute as the party’s largest electoral turnout to date, volunteers for each camp handed out two very different voters’ guide cards.
Five out of nine of the new officers appear on a card bearing the slate of Alberta Prosperity Project-supported “pro-independence” candidates declaring “These people work for us!”, including Samantha Steinke, VP comms; Helen Holder, VP fundraising; Vicki Kozmak-LeFrense, North; Al Biel, Central, and Irma Roberts, Calgary.
