Two men are dead following a shooting that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning near Silsbee.
The sheriff there, Mark Davis told KJAS news partner KFDM that deputies were dispatched to 4000 block of Fresenius Road, northwest of Silsbee at around 2:30 am when it was reported that the shooting occurred and arrived to find two men dead in the roadway.
Davis said it appeared that both men had died of gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by Hardin County Justice of the Peace Rod Ousley who has called for an autopsy as he and others try to find out what sparked the shooting.
The names of the decease or other information has not been released pending formal notification of next of kin. However, deputies have said that they have identified two possible suspects in the
