Two people were taken to the hospital Saturday night following a Chesterfield Township house fire that was complicated by high winds, frigid conditions and exploding propane tanks, according to the fire department.
Fire crews responded to the blaze at a two-story house on Hagen Road near Scheuer Road, which is roughly west of Gratiot Avenue and north of 25 Mile Road.
Two of the home’s occupants were transported by Medstar Ambulance for evaluation at an area hospital, firefighters said on the department’s social media page. Their conditions and reasons for being brought to the hospital were not disclosed.
