SPOKANE, Wash. — After a slow start to the month of November, the Chiefs had an opportunity to turn things around the latter half of the next-to-last month of the year as they had the chance to finish with a 5-game winning streak if they could sweep the final 3 games of the month. Spokane would play three games against B.C. Division foes in the week, a division they had struggled against during the season.
Spokane would face Kelowna and Kamloops over the three games, two teams that had thrashed the Chiefs in their last meetings. Spokane dropped a 7-1 decision at Kelowna two weeks earlier on November 15th, while Kamloops had beat up the Chiefs 8-2 in Spokane on November 4th. The Chiefs were just 3-5 vs. the B.C. this season, going 1-1 against Kelowna and 0-2 against Kamloops.
