Riding the strength of a four-goal second period, the Powassan Voodoos went on to knock off the Iroquois Falls Storm 4-2 in a Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League Sunday matinee at Jus Jordan Arena.

After a scoreless opening 20 minutes, and up a skater to begin the middle stanza, Powassan’s Dylan Rousselle darted up ice out of his own zone and while driving down the right wing, fired a shot that Iroquois Falls goaltender Virgil Sausset-Plateaux could only get a piece of before it bounced over him and into the net.

On the power play once more, Ryan Saginaw used traffic in front to make it 2-0 Voodoos when he wired one in through a screen from the left circle for his team-leading 16th of the season.
