PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers came into the game with a left wrist injury, and now has left the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills after being strip sacked by Joey Bosa.

Rodgers’ injury was not an aggravation of the left wrist injury, but appeared to be a nose injury. As he was escorted off the field, Rodgers was holding his nose and a towel was put around his face.

He stayed in the blue medical tent for a significant amount of time before being given his helmet and waiting on the sideline. Rodgers is likely to return to the game.

Rodgers has played in the shotgun and a newly-debuted pistol set rather than going under center. While head coach Mike Tomlin said on Friday that Rodgers did take some snaps under center, it does not appear the team want
