COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The No. 3 seed Texas A&M women’s volleyball team will open up the NCAA Tournament at home Friday against Campbell (23-6), as a part of the Nebraska Quadrant.
The winner of the game will take on the winner of Stephen F. Austin (23-7) and sixth-seeded TCU (20-10).
A&M entered the tournament ranked No. 10 in RPI after losing in the Southeastern Conference Tournament to Texas in the semifinals. Texas was the third overall seed, along with fellow No. 1s Nebraska, Kentucky and Pittsburgh.
The berth marks the Aggies’ third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Jamie Morrison has taken A&M to the national postseason in all three seasons he’s been in Aggieland.
