The countdown to Christmas is officially on as December arrives, with households across the UK busy getting their gifts organised. And for those planning to post presents to loved ones, the Post Office has issued a one-week warning ahead of what it anticipates will be the busiest day at its branches.
The Post Office has urged customers to get their Christmas parcels sent ahead of Monday, December 8, which is expected to be the peak time for posting gifts. A survey found that Brits are planning to send more gifts by post this festive season, with the number of people intending to do so rising from 20% to 33%.
