An Australian high school teacher with an eight-week-old baby has reportedly pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a teenage boy multiple times.

Karly Rae, 37, entered guilty pleas Thursday to four charges in Newcastle District Court in New South Wales state, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corp., after her lawyer had requested the case be dealt with “as a priority” due to her status as a new mother.

Rae had originally pleaded not guilty in May to charges of having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old boy in October 2024, possession of child abuse material, grooming a child for unlawful sexual activity and committing an act with the intention of perverting the course of justice.
