WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Sunday, the Ripe for Revival market made a stop in Winterville at Peace Presbyterian Church to help those in need this holiday season.

Peace Presbyterian looks to do community outreach projects on months where there’s a fifth Sunday, and after seeing Ripe for Revival at a Kinston church’s trunk or treat, they decided to have them out for their community as well.

The mobile market provides an opportunity to get fresh produce at a “pay what you can” price.

“Even on my very first day, somebody came in and said I have two dollars, and they needed food to get through the week, and I was able to meet that need, and that was really special,” Samuel Overman, associate market driver for Ripe for Revival, told WITN.
