This year's Le Bal des Débutantes showcased a slew of glamorous young faces donning haute couture gowns to make their debut, including Hollywood and fashion royalty.
Known simply as Le Bal, the exclusive, invite-only debutante ball can only be described as the Met Gala but for teenagers, scions, heiresses and royals, according to Vogue magazine, which had a firsthand inside look at the big night. The 2025 edition of the debutante ball was held at the Shangri-La Paris hotel, a luxury 5-star hotel near the city's Eiffel Tower, on Saturday, Nov. 29.
This year, the granddaughter of designer Carolina Herrera, Carolina Lansing, and Bronwyn Golden Vance, daughter of actors Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance, made their debut at Le Bal. It's not out of the ordinary either for celebrity offspring to have a presence at the annual event. In years past, Lily Collins, Apple Martin, Ava Philippe, Lori Harvey, Scout Willims and Margaret Qualley have all stepped out for the occasion.

Angela Bassett's daughter Bronwyn Golden Vance
The Oscar-nominated star's daughter, 19, wore a princess-like gown designed by French haute couturier Stéphane Rolland for the occasion.
During her big night, Vance shared a touching moment with her father during an opening daughter-father dance, and according to Vogue, she asked her twin brother, Slater Vance, to be her cavalier débutant for the night.
Of the opportunity to be part of Le Bal, Vance told Vogue in an interview that she was grateful to be "in a space with successful women who are around my age from all over the world," adding that "it's very rare that you can share such a beautiful night with accomplished young girls who are slowly reaching adulthood."
"It's a moment to cherish friendships with women who have similar aspirations in life," she added.
Ahead of the big night, the Instagram account for the Le Bal des Débutantes shared an inside look at the young woman during a fitting for her gown.
Carolina Herrera's granddaughter Carolina Lansing
Carolina Lansing, the 21-year-old granddaughter of legendary fashion designer Carolina Herrera, also made her debut with her younger brother, Magnus Lansing, as her cavalier.
For the momentous night, she wore a floor-length, strapless black and white polka dot gown that both felt elegant and still made a statement, featuring a bell-shaped skirt, bow and matching sash. The look was designed by Wes Gordon, creative director of the Carolina Herrera fashion label.
In an interview with Vogue about her look for the night, Lansing said, "We ended up paying homage to my grandmother's first runway collection," which featured "a lot of polka dots, so we decided to do black and white with a low waist and ruching, and a big bow because it felt very 'Carolina.'"
Carolina Herrera's daughter, Patricia Lansing, also shared an inside look at the night of her two children. "Whirlwindfrom the beautiful polka dots and giant bow to Magnus wearing my father's white tie/tails, all of it feels like a dream," she captioned the post. "Only missing piece was Gerrit," her husband and father to Carolina and Magnus.
The young deb also revealed how she paid tribute to her grandfather with her ribbon choker and antique diamond, sapphire brooch. "The pin immediately reminded me of my grandfather when I saw it, and he just recently passed away in March," she said.
In footage shared by Hello magazine, Carolina and her brother Magnus were seen showing off their moves on the dance floor.

Reagan Sacks' father is David Sacks, who serves as the chairman of Donald Trump's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Her father is also a friend of Elon Musk; meanwhile, her mother, Jacqueline Sacks, founded the wellness brand Saint Haven.
The young debutante wore a blush pink Schiaparelli Haute Couture with matching gloves.
Alexandra Moxey
Alexandra is a student at the University of Chicago, studying Latin American History and Law. Her father is the founder of Ultra Records, which is home to artists including Calvin Harris and David Guetta.
She wore Lanvin for her look.
