SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks dominated the Minnesota Vikings in a 26-0 shutout win at home.

Here are three takeaways from the win:

Rookie falls flat

Minnesota gave quarterback Max Brosmer his first career start and Seattle made sure it was unforgettable. The Seahawks picked him off four times. In the second quarter, the Vikings went for it on a fourth and one from Seattle's four-yard line. Defensive lineman Demarcus Lawrence had him in his grasp, leading to an ill-advised throw by Brosmer to Ernest Jones IV. Jones returned it 85-yards for a touchdown.

Stingy defense

Seattle earned its first shutout since 2015. Meanwhile, Minnesota had not been shutout since 2007, snapping a 294-game scoring streak. The Hawks only allowed 48 total yards in the first half and 162 yards in the gam
