Rashunda Jones had four points in the final 40 seconds while helping the Michigan State women’s basketball team pass its toughest test of the season to date.

Jones had a key layup and free throws as the No. 21-ranked Spartans held off a comeback for Clemson to record a 72-64 win in the title game of the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau tournament in Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday, Nov. 30.

The late points for Jones came as Clemson had cut the Spartan lead to five in each instance.

Jones had 16 points, which included going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, while helping MSU improve to 8-0.

Kennedy Blair led the way with a game-high 22 points and added 12 rebounds and five assists for the Spartans, who played without starting guard Theryn Hallock. She recorded her second double-double of the season and
