A Sudbury driver faces multiple charges after being stopped for speeding near Elliot Lake.
East Algoma OPP said the vehicle was pulled over around 11 a.m. Friday on Highway 108.

“After speaking to the driver, police learned they were breaching a current probation order and had a suspended driver’s licence,” the OPP said.
Jacob Peart, 21, of Sudbury, was charged with speeding, driving while under suspension, breach of a court order, and failing to produce an insurance card.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Jan. 19.
