Knox Benn picked the perfect time to catch his first NHL game.

Jamie Benn ’s 7-month-old son attended Sunday’s game between the Dallas Stars and the Ottawa Senators at American Airlines Arena -- a 6-1 win for the Stars -- and got to see the team honor his dad’s 400th NHL goal in a special pregame ceremony.

Knox, rocking a green Stars T-shirt, was rinkside during warmups with his mom, Jessica. Benn skated over with some of his teammates to greet the esteemed guests.

The Stars captain and three-time NHL All Star scored his milestone goal on Tuesday in an 8-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers, then put another one in on Friday in a 4-3 win over the Utah Mammoth.
