Late in Sunday’s 26-7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Buffalo Bills may have received another piece of bad news. Defensive end Joey Bosa was listed as questionable to return to the game with a hamstring injury.
Bosa’s exit from the game (he did, in fact, not return) was quiet and unnoticed until the Bills made the announcement from the sideline. What was noticed was Bosa’s strip-sack on Pittsburgh quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The forced fumble was the fifth of the year for the Bosa, who is now tied for the team’s single-season record.
The good news for Buffalo is that Bosa did not appear to be limping after the game as he moved around the field and then headed to the locker room with his team. It’s possible that taking him out of the game was completely cautionary for some tightness
