The UK is bracing for a month's worth of rain as the Met Office issues an amber weather warning , predicting a massive downpour to kick off December.

Parts of Wales have been slapped with an amber weather warning, while yellow warnings are scattered across the rest of the UK , with heavy rain likely to cause havoc.

The Met Office has urged Brits to prepare for potential flooding as the weather warning kicks in at midnight on Monday, 1st December and will remain in place throughout the day.

Marco Petagna, Senior meteorologist for the Met Office, has suggested that a month's worth of rain could fall in just 24 hours, with downpours expected nationwide, according to The Independent.
