1. Bolts get back on track
The Chargers earned their eighth win Sunday but the biggest storyline from Week 13 is that Justin Herbert will undergo surgery on Monday after suffering a broken bone in his non-throwing hand.
Herbert left the game for half a series before coming back in with a hard cast and a glove on his left hand.
"He's as tough as they come," said Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. "Taped it up, glove and played a great game."
So, too, did the Chargers, who overcame a sluggish first half to dominate the Raiders in the second half on the way to another double-digit win against their division rivals.
