Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers returned to the lineup for the team's Week 13 matchup vs. the Buffalo Bills after sitting out last week, and wore a brace to protect his fractured left wrist. However, Rodgers briefly left Sunday's eventual 26-7 loss following the first play from scrimmage in the second half after taking a violent hit.
Rodgers was sacked from behind by Joey Bosa , and fumbled the ball. It was picked up by Bills cornerback Christian Benford who returned it 17 yards for Buffalo's first touchdown of the game. Rodgers was seen cradling his injured wrist on the ground, and also sustained a cut on his nose, which drew blood.
