WEATHERSFIELD — The Trumbull County Engineer’s Office is planning a $750,000 resurfacing of Salt Springs Road and Niles Carver Road, both in Weathersfield Township, in spring and summer 2026.
Trumbull County Engineer David DeChristofaro, in conjunction with Weathersfield officials, proposes to improve both roads by milling and resurfacing 0.90 miles of Salt Springs Road beginning at Austintown Warren Road and milling and resurfacing 0.93 miles of Niles Carver Road from Salt Springs Road to the southern Niles corporation limits.
Additional work includes the replacement of three culverts on Salt Springs Road between Austintown Warren Road and Carson Salt Springs Road and the replacement of two culverts on Niles Carver Road between McKees Lane and Salt Springs Road.
