LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — It’s been 25 years since Husker fans have witnessed an undefeated regular season.
But under first-year head coach Dani Busboom Kelly, Nebraska has turned back the clock with a dominant, history-making run.
“It feels really sturdy. It feels like we have a lot of tailwinds, and we’ve got the perfect person running the program,” said John Baylor, one of the Nebraska volleyball broadcasters.
Busboom Kelly, once a Husker national champion libero and assistant coach, returned to Lincoln to take the reins from former head coach John Cook.
And in just one season, the Nebraska native already paved her own path.
