Daytime Construction and 24/7 Parking Restrictions Begin Dec. 1 as Crews Upgrade Sidewalks

Caltrans will impose lane closures and around-the-clock parking restrictions next week along two sections of State Route 2 as part of an ongoing multimodal pavement improvement project in West Los Angeles and Echo Park.

The agency said crews will be performing curb, gutter, and sidewalk work between December 1 and December 7 , with daytime construction scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Parking restrictions in both work zones will remain in effect 24 hours a day throughout the week.

West Los Angeles – Segment A (December 1–7)

• Up to one lane will close in each direction on Santa Monica Boulevard between Wellesley Avenue and Bundy Drive.
