A new Vintage Sewing group met recently in Norway as part of The Saintly Stitchers Quilt Guild membership. The new group will continue to meet at 9 a.m. on the third Monday of the month in the basement of St. Mary Catholic Church. Members use their antique machines to work on projects. Prosperity chickens were sewn this month. Members also share information on their antique machines. Rose Ball presented her 1954 Singer Featherweight, which included paperwork on the first owner, Mary, who made monthly payments on her machine. Shown is Dawn Tramontin with her sewing machine. For further information on The Saintly Stitchers Quilt Guild or the new Vintage Sewing group, contact President Rosemary Ball at 906-221-5833. (Submitted photo)
