The New York Jets have won three of their last five games after they defeated the Atlanta Falcons 27 – 24 on Sunday.
The Jets were outgained and outplayed for most of the game. They had zero sustained drives until midway through the fourth quarter, when they put together a long touchdown drive to tie the game. The only thing keeping the Jets in the game was success on special teams, as the Jets got a turnover on a Falcons punt return to set up a one play, two-yard touchdown drive early in the game, and got an 85 yard Isaiah Williams kickoff return to set up another short field scoring drive starting on the Falcons’ 15 yard line.
