Nationwide has provided a significant update regarding record-breaking transactions for customers. Nationwide has published its Black Friday figures following the shopping extravaganza in the run-up to Christmas .

By 4pm, Nationwide customers had completed over 7.3 million transactions since Black Friday commenced. The peak number of transactions logged per minute reached 15,345 and 255 per second.

The volume of purchases at 4pm represents a 9.18% increase compared to Black Friday 2024, which recorded more than 6.68 million transactions at the corresponding time last year.
