Granite City woman charged with child pornography, used Kik for images, documents state

MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) -A Granite City woman was charged with four counts of child pornography after an investigation conducted by Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Alice Pierce, 28, was charged on Wednesday by Madison County Sheriff’s Office after they received several cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on November 19.

The tips consisted of an unknown person in possession of and spreading child abuse content.

An investigation led to Pierce as the suspect of the images. Multiple search warrants were done to narrow down to Pierce, the sheriff’s office said.

A search warrant was conducted at Pierce’s residence and several items were seized.
