The discount covers people who work in five sectors

TGJones, formerly known as WHSmith, has signed up to a new partnership which means people who work in one of five sectors can get 20 per cent off. The Blue Light Card deal means that from December 2 until Christmas Eve anyone working in the emergency services, the NHS , the social care sector, teachers and armed forces is entitled to a 20% discount online and at any of its stores across the UK, on top of any existing offers or promotions.

The offer, which runs for 22 days only, will then revert to the standard 10% discount from December 25 and can be enjoyed by Blue Light Card holders all year round. The enhanced discount can be used across stationery, books, cards and toys including its dedicated Christmas range.
