PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria gas prices have dropped nearly 10 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.07 on Monday, according to GasBuddy. AAA Illinois’ price is two cents higher.

Peoria prices are eight cents lower than last month, and nearly 4.5 cents lower than this time last year.

GasBuddy says the cheapest gas in Peoria on Sunday was $2.84, the highest price was $3.29, the lowest price in the state was $2.49, and the highest price was $4.79. AAA’s state average on Monday was $3.15.

Gasbuddy’s national price of unleaded gas has dropped about 8.5 cents in the last week, averaging $2.95 today (Monday). AAA’s national price is $3.00.
