THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the possibility of rain in Kerala for the next five days. A yellow alert has been issued for four districts on December 3. The districts under yellow alert are Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Idukki. These districts are likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall.
Heavy rain refers to rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm within 24 hours. The IMD has also said that isolated places in Kerala are likely to receive rain accompanied by thunder and lightning from December 2 (tomorrow) to December 4.
