Chart-topping singer Lorde has been announced as a headliner for Edinburgh's Summer Sessions. The Grammy-winning artist will take to the stage at the Royal Highland Showground on Tuesday, August 5.

Lorde, 29, rose to fame after her album Pure Heroine back in 2013. The Royals singer will be joined by Zara Larsson and Audrey Hobert, with more artists to be announced.

Tickets for the Summer Sessions will be available at 9am on Friday December 5. Fans who have signed up will have access to presale from 9am on Wednesday, December 3.
