Monday BP: What were your favorite defensive plays of the 2025 season?

Good morning, baseball fans!

We hope you had a great holiday weekend! Over the weekend, I asked you all to share your favorite home runs of the San Francisco Giants’ 2025 season. Today, I wanted to get into our favorite defensive plays of the 2025 season.

There were a LOT of great plays and catches this year, but I am going to have to give my pick to Mike Yastrzemski’s amazing catch on July 30th (just hours before he was traded to the Kansas City Royals. No, I’m not over it yet. No, I will never be over it.) The Giants went on to lose that game, but this catch is one of the moments from this season that will stick with me way more than the final score of any particular game.
