SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A water main break near the Dollar Tree across from Bass Pro Shops forced police to close Campbell Avenue just south of Sunshine Street Monday morning.

The break occurred just after 3 a.m., sending water flowing across the road and into the eastbound turn lane from Sunshine onto Campbell Avenue.

Public works crews have been called to repair the break.

Drivers will want to find another route for their morning commute.
