Santa Claus is coming to Northern Nevada — on trains, in parades, even sitting down for breakfast at a Tahoe resort.

Some of the region's favorite December activities are taking place this week ... namely, the Sparks Hometowne Christmas Celebration and 39 North Pole Village in Sparks, the Polar Express out of Virginia City, and the Tahoe Film Fest up on the north side of the lake.
