Iconic paintings given modern makeovers View Image

Iconic paintings have been given a modern make-over showing what the models would have looked like had they been pictured today. The Mona Lisa, The Girl with the Pearl Earring and The Birth of Venus were reimagined using some of the most popular beauty trends from the last 30 years.

It saw the Birth of Venus, which was painted by Sandro Botticelli in the 1480s, given a classic 1990s makeover, complete with body glitter, nail art and the iconic small butterfly clips in her hair.
