Four pickleball players just set the world record for the longest pickleball game at Ace Pickleball Club in Enola.
The quartet played for 48 hours straight, from 9 a.m. on Black Friday to 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Andrew Hunter, Steve Dunham, Steve Lesko and Renee Sipos played in the match, beating the former official world record of 34 hours.
The match was about more than just breaking a record though. All four raised money for meaningful charities:
Hunter raised $2,200 for Market Square Presbyterian Church’s homeless outreach in Harrisburg
Dunham raised $870 for the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder
Lesko raised $815 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
Sipos raised $828 for Four Diamonds, a childhood cancer organization
