A firefighter was hurt and more than 10 people were displaced from a fire that broke out at a Framingham apartment on Sunday.

The fire began just before 8 p.m. at the apartment located at 33 Interfaith Terrace on Nov. 30, according to the Framingham Fire Department.

One firefighter was hurt as the department knocked down the two-alarm blaze, but their injuries were minor.

Two women, aged 22 and 49, were rescued from the second floor of the apartment and brought to the hospital. Both were in stable condition as of Monday morning, the fire department said.

More than 10 people have been displaced from the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross, the department said.

Though the flames were contained to a single unit, seven other apartment units had fire or smoke damage.
