SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A Sarasota man on felony probation was arrested after Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies say he was involved in a DUI crash Thanksgiving Day involving two other vehicles.
According to a probable cause affidavit, deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash on Tamiami Trail and Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte.
Deputies found a man, later identified as Tydarian R. White, the driver of one of the vehicles involved, standing in front of another stopped vehicle.
A deputy said White was in a daze and the overwhelming smell of alcohol was coming from his car. White refused to speak with deputies who also saw a bottle of whiskey about three-fourths full on the driver’s side floorboard, the affidavit said.
