Meet Luke, our Pet of the Week. He is a 4-year-old male, mixed-breed dog.

Luke weighs 56 pounds and is a happy, social dog. He loves people and making new dog friends.

The Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga (HES) says Luke will thrive in a family home, especially with kids. He is patient and friendly, and he has a playful energy. Luke loves fetch, rope toys and dog play dates.

Luke arrived to HES as a stray. He has an old leg injury that did not heal correctly. Though he is not in pain, HES veterinarians plan to remove the non-functional leg to make him comfortable and prevent age-related issues in the future.
