A Suffolk youth charity has received £500,000 of National Lottery funding to increase the support it offers to young people in the town and surrounding villages.

The Level Two Youth Project, in Cobbold Road, Felixstowe will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year and has received an early birthday present courtesy of the funding.

At Easter, the charity is expected to open a new satellite hub at the Beach Street dining and shopping complex, in Micklegate Road.

This new space will extend access to youth services and also serve as a community venue, enabling activities and events that encourage local families and residents of all ages to come together.
