While U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., may be keeping the door open for a potential presidential campaign in 2028, the 56-year-old senator shut the door on his life as a bachelor last week.
Booker married 38-year-old Alexis Lewis, saying “I do” at a courthouse in Newark on Monday and at a private ceremony in Washington D.C., on Saturday, according to the New York Times .
The wedding ceremony was interfaith, with a rabbi and a pastor blessing the couple, according to the New York Times.
Booker is a Christian and Lewis is Jewish.
