The Boston Celtics are on a roll, as they have won six of their past eight games to push their record to 11-9 through their first 20 games. And yet, they aren’t close to being the hottest team in the league. That would be the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have caught the full attention of Celtics legend Paul Pierce .

After winning the 2025 NBA Finals, the Thunder have returned this season and won 20 of their first 21 games. That includes an ongoing 12-game win streak, and it’s worth noting that much of this has been done without Jalen Williams, who has only played in two games this year.
