Luigi Mangione was seen in court for the first time since September .

The accused UnitedHealthcare CEO shooter attended a hearing on Monday (December 1) in Manhattan Criminal Court in New York City.

His lawyers are prepared to ask for evidence to be thrown out as they claim Luigi was not read his Miranda Rights and apparently, did not have the correct warrant to search him when he was arrested. People reports that he was brought in wearing shackles that were eventually removed.

If you don’t remember, in December of 2024 Luigi , 27, was arrested after being accused of fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City.
