KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ― The Tennessee Valley Authority in partnership with Bicentennial Volunteers Inc. is awarding $1.5 million in awards to educators to support projects in science, technology, engineering and math.

Overall, TVA officials say 22 Kentucky schools received awards totaling $103,500.

These include several local schools, including the following:

Allen County-Scottsville High School

Alvaton Elementary

Auburn Elementary School

Butler County High School

Chandler’s School

Drakes Creek Middle School

Glasgow Middle School

Edmonson County High School

R E Stevenson Elementary School

Rockfield Elementary

South Green Elementary

South Warren High School

Warren East High School

Warren East Middle School
