A ‘dazzling’ 1980s’ movie trilogy has been added to Disney+ which its loyal fans say is one of the ‘best ever’ to grace the big screen.

It turned out to be a day of trilogies for the streaming service on Monday (December 1) as they look to boost their catalogue in the run up to Christmas . Lots of subscribers were left shocked when they were greeted by Shrek on their home screen.

The confusion arrived due to Disney and DreamWorks, the studio who produced all four Shrek movies, being sworn rivals for years. In spite of this, the first three Shrek movies were released on Monday, perfect viewing for the entire family, even if you’ve seen them a million times before.
