A winter weather advisory is in effect for southeastern Pennsylvania and part of New Jersey until early Tuesday afternoon. A large system is bringing wintry weather from the Midwest to the Northeast.
How much snow will fall? It depends. The National Weather Service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow and sleet for upper Bucks, western Chester and western Montgomery counties in PA and Hunterdon County in N.J.
In Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties in PA and Warren County, N.J., the predicted accumulation is 2 to 5 inches of snow and sleet.
For Delaware County, the NWS says there is just a chance of snow Tuesday, “rain and snow, becoming all rain after 10 a.m.”
When is the snow starting? The NWS forecast has the advisory in effect from 4 a.m. Tuesday to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
