Traffic was queuing after a rush-hour crash on the M5 which left a vehicle overturned this afternoon (Monday, December 1).

The incident occurred between Michaelwood Services and J13 (for Stroud ).

Traffic was briefly held for a few minutes to move the vehicle.

All lanes have reopened since but traffic was stop-start, according to Inrix.

Inrix said: "Stop-start traffic due to earlier overturned vehicle on M5 Northbound from Mule Street (Michaelwood Services) to J13 A419 ( Stroud ).

"All traffic was held just prior to 16:40 for a few minutes to move the vehicle and to reopen all lanes.

"Michaelwood Services is located between J14 and J13."

At around 5.20pm, traffic had eased and the incident was clear.
