A former police officer who sexually harassed a woman at a house party while off-duty would have been dismissed had he not already resigned, a gross misconduct hearing panel concluded.

The hearing, which took place on Monday, December 1 at Gloucestershire Constabulary's headquarters in Quedgeley, Gloucester, heard the incident involving PC Oliver Wilson happened at a gathering in Frampton on Seven in September 2023.

His behaviour resulted in PC Wilson being asked to leave the house which then led to him becoming aggressive.

The former officer subsequently became involved in an altercation with a man, which left both with minor injuries.
