Frankie Mae Speirs Larsen, age 94, passed away quietly in her sleep on November 24, 2025. She was residing at Legacy Assisted Living at the time of her death.

She was born April 23, 1931 at her grandparents home in Montpelier, Idaho to Frank and Willmirth Speirs. She was raised as an only child but did have a baby sister that died the same day she was born when Frankie was about 8 years old.

Frankie grew up in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1949. During her Junior year, she met her sweetheart, Ray Larsen. Ray was a year older and after his graduation, he went away to college, but would come home on weekends to date her. He proposed to her the night of her high school graduation.
