Bryan Chris Mortensen passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on November 28, 2025. He was born in Logan, Utah on October 2, 1975. He was the second of three children born to Chris Warren Mortensen and Paulette Miles Mortensen. He was nicknamed “Huss” by his brother, and the moniker stuck for the rest of his life.

Bryan attended Wilson Elementary, Logan Junior High, and Logan High schools. He graduated from Logan High in 1993. He rode on a float, clad in full football gear, when he was a very handsome 5 year old, and was the star of the USU Homecoming parade.
